Dispenser
Dispenser – Community Pharmacy (London
Salary: £13.92 to £16.64 per hour, depending on location
About the Role
As a Dispenser within one of our pharmacy stores, you’ll be a vital member of our healthcare team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmacy services.
In this in-store role, you’ll:
- Build strong relationships with patients while addressing their needs
- Greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and ensure the safe supply of medicines
- Provide healthcare advice, assisting patients in making informed decisions about their well-being
- Play a key part in improving patient care day-to-day

Key Responsibilities
- Prescription Dispensing:
- Order, label, and safely dispense prescriptions
- Collect and endorse medicines as required
- Healthcare Support:
- Work alongside pharmacists and healthcare professionals to manage pharmacy services
- Offer medicine advice to patients and refer complex queries to the pharmacist
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for safe medication handling
- Patient Care:
- Help patients manage prescriptions effectively to prevent waste
- Provide personalised support for reliable medicine adherence
- Technology & Training:
- Adapt as new pharmacy systems and tools are introduced
- Regular updates and career development opportunities (e.g., training as a Pharmacy Technician or into store leadership)

Requirements
Essential:
- Completed or currently working towards finishing either:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (Pharmacy Advisor qualification), or
- The first year of an MPharm degree (.append full completion if already underway)
- Valid UK right-to-work status (this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship)
Desired:
- Experience in community pharmacy would be an advantage.
