Dispenser Announcement
Hourly rate: £13.92 to £16.64 Available across selected locations within London
About the Role
As a Dispenser in one of our stores, you’ll play a crucial role in the pharmacy team, supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient healthcare services.
Key tasks include:
- Forming strong relationships with patients through empathetic listening and tailored support
- Greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and ensuring safe medication sales
- Providing healthcare advice to help patients make informed decisions
- Ensuring patient needs are met while promoting adherence and reducing waste
- Regular mentoring and career growth opportunities (including pharmacy technician training)
Important: This role is in-store only in the UK. Applicants must have eligibility for UK work and UK qualifications for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing & Safeguarding
- Managing private prescription collections to advanced referral pathway management
- Ensuring safe medication supply (Ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and checking)
- Patient Care & Advice
- Delivering personalised support to patients
- Consulting the Pharmacist for complex queries
- Pharmacy Operations
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee legal and safe dispensation
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal pharmacy services
- Technology & Continuous Improvement
- Working with evolving dispensing technology to enhance patient safety
- Privacy – Counselling you to make sure medicines are only sold legally and safely
- Building Experience

Requirements
Essential
✔ Completion of Pharmacy Advisor Qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) ✔ MPharm students in their first year completing or completing additional training ✔ Valid UK right to work credential
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Sponsorship for Skilled Worker visa is not available for this role.
Preferred
- Previous experience in community pharmacy is beneficial
