Dispenser
Pharmacy Dispenser Role – London, UK 💲 Hourly rate: £13.92 – £16.64 (depending on location)
About the Role
As a Dispenser in one of our London stores, you’ll be a valued member of the pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. Your work will centre on building meaningful relationships with patients, addressing their needs, and providing high-quality healthcare advice.
Key Focus Areas:
- Picking up and greeting customers
- Dispensing prescriptions safely and efficiently
- Managing the safe supply of medicines
- Offering products and services to enhance overall health and wellness
This role is based in-store only within the UK (remote applications cannot be considered).
Core Responsibilities
Safe Prescription Dispensing & Patient Care
- Order, label, dispense, and endorse prescriptions
- Verify medication safety and legality
- Provide patients with tailored advice on medicine management
- Refer complex queries to the pharmacist as needed
Team Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Work alongside healthcare professionals to support pharmacy service delivery
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Embrace evolving technologies to streamline processes
- Contribute to regular training and operational improvements

Requirements
Essential:
- Completed the PJIB/Pharmacy Advisor NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- Must be currently working towards OR progressed 12 months into an MPharm degree
- Valid UK right to work in the UK (this role is not eligible for sponsorship)
Desirable:
- Prior experience in community pharmacy settings
