Dispenser (Pharmacy) – Hourly Rate: £13.92 to £16.64 (London Locations)
About the Opportunity
As a Dispenser within one of our UK stores, you’ll be a vital member of our pharmacy team, supporting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy and healthcare services.
Your day-to-day work includes building meaningful relationships with patients by:
- Greeting customers and listening to their needs
- Safely dispensing prescriptions and managing medicine supply
- Providing expert medicines advice to help patients make informed decisions
- Supporting patient adherence to medications and reducing waste
This role is store-based in the UK. Remote applications will not be considered, and candidates outside the UK will only be progressed if they can prove right-to-work eligibility and relevant UK qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Prescription dispensing, ensuring accuracy and safety, including:
- Ordering, labelling, and processing medicines
- Endorsing, dispensing, and collecting prescriptions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services
- Advising patients on medicines, treatments, and wellness, escalating complex queries to the Pharmacist
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for legal and safe dispensing
- Staying updated with new store innovations and operational processes

Requirements
Essential
- Completion of the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) OR
- At least first-year completion of an MPharm qualification
- Current and valid UK right-to-work status (Note: This role does not qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.)
Desirable
- Experience in community pharmacy
