Qualified Dispensing Optician – Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will provide a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and ensure they return. You will work within one of our stores, reporting directly to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical support in-store for regulated dispensing
- Inspiring the Optical team by sharing knowledge to deliver the best possible service
- Listening to customer needs and offering expert advice tailored to their requirements
- Helping customers select the correct eyewear while ensuring they receive the best product for their needs
- Supporting the team to deliver efficient daily operations and compliant business practices
- Providing expert knowledge for patients with specialist requirements
What You’ll Need To Have (Our Must-Haves)
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD), adhering to GOC requirements
