Dispensing Optician – Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will provide a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical support in-store for regulated dispensing
- Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service
- Listening to the needs of customers and offering expertise and advice
- Helping our customers choose the correct eyewear and guiding them to ensure they receive the best product suited to their needs
- Supporting the team to deliver an efficient and compliant operational model
- Providing expert knowledge for patients with specialist requirements
What You’ll Need To Have (Must-Haves)
✅ Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) ✅ A passion for own learning and development, completing all CPD training as required by GOC
