Dispensing Optician
Dispensing Optician Vacancy
What You’ll Be Doing
As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you'll provide a high level of customer care and expert advice to enhance the experience for our customers and encourage repeat visits. You’ll work within one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
- Inspire the Optical team by sharing expertise to deliver outstanding service
- Listen carefully to customers’ needs and offer tailored, expert advice
- Help customers select the ideal eyewear while ensuring they receive a product best suited to their requirements
- Support the team in achieving efficiency and operating within legal frameworks
- Provide specialist knowledge for customers with complex needs
What You’ll Need to Have (Our Must-Haves)
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- A passion for continuous learning, ensuring completion of all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required by the GOC
