Dispensing Optician

Qualified Dispensing Optician – Boots Opticians

What You’ll Be Doing

As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will provide a high level of customer care and deliver expert advice to ensure our customers depend on our service and return repeatedly. You’ll work in one of our stores, reporting directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
  • Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your dispensing knowledge to deliver the best possible service
  • Listening to customer needs and offering expert advice and guidance
  • Supporting customers in choosing the correct eyewear and ensuring they receive the best product suited to their needs
  • Ensuring the team delivers an efficient model day, adhering to operational processes and legal business requirements
  • Providing expert knowledge for patients with specialist requirements

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Committed to continuous professional development (CPD), completing all necessary training as required by the GOC
