As our new Dispensing Pharmacist you will work in a fast-moving, agile environment where accuracy is paramount, flexibility is essential, and no two days are the same. You will be responsible for supervising and managing the dispensing of controlled drug prescriptions for medicinal cannabis, ensuring compliance with stringent regulations, and delivering outstanding patient care. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who is committed to excellence in pharmacy operations.

What will you be doing?
- Clinically check prescriptions for Controlled drug prescriptions for medicinal cannabis
- Ensure timely availability and dispatch of medicines for patients.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements for ordering, receiving, storing, and dispensing medicines.
- Maintain accurate records in line with GPhC standards.
- Provide patient counselling on the safe use of medicines, including specialised equipment.
- Offer guidance to prescribers to minimise supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant supply chains.
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, maintaining security and supervising pharmacy staff.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to manage safe prescribing practices.
- Maintain electronic health records and implement regulatory changes.
- Support governance and operational teams to ensure GPhC and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the efficient running of pharmacy services through stock monitoring and audits.

What do you need?
- UK-qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC number.
- CPD-accredited medical cannabis education preferred (training provided if necessary).
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
What we offer:
- Saturdays only
- £60,000 pro rata salary
