Job Title: Dispute Resolution Solicitor
Location: Wigan & Liverpool
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary - Competitive, dependent on experience

A top tier Legal 500 ranked law firm is expanding its dispute resolution team across its Wigan and Liverpool offices. Known for delivering pragmatic, high-quality legal advice to a broad client base, the firm has built a strong reputation in commercial litigation while maintaining a supportive and down-to-earth culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified and those with post-qualification experience to join a growing team handling a varied and engaging caseload of commercial disputes.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of commercial dispute matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work while developing your technical and client management skills.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with and managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters
- Working on disputes including breach of contract, shareholder/director issues, debt recovery, professional negligence and general business disputes
- Supporting on all stages of litigation, from pre-action through to trial and enforcement
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and legal research
- Attending client meetings, court hearings and mediations where appropriate
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver effective client outcomes
- Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
- NQ + with background from litigation (civil or commercial), housing despair, personal injury, dispute resolution, debt recovery
- Strong academic background and solid technical grounding
- A keen interest in developing a career in commercial disputes
- Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
