The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading national disputes practice as a Legal Director in London. Working alongside a highly regarded team of specialists, you will advise an impressive client base on a broad range of high:value and complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters.

You will manage a varied caseload encompassing contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, breaches of directors duties, fraud, intellectual property and technology disputes, property litigation, construction:related disputes, and domestic and international arbitration. The role will see you representing clients through all stages of litigation, arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, leading client meetings and negotiations, instructing counsel and expert witnesses, supervising, and mentoring junior lawyers, and playing an active role in business development and the continued growth of the practice.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 8 years PQE or above and substantial experience in commercial dispute resolution. You will have an excellent understanding of civil procedure rules, strong advocacy and negotiation skills and a proven ability to manage complex litigation independently. Experience across a range of commercial disputes, together with a genuine interest in mentoring junior lawyers and developing client relationships, will be highly regarded. You will also possess strong commercial awareness, exceptional organisational skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
