Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Legal Executive (NQ to 5+ PQE)
Location: Leeds office Focus: Mixed litigation caseload, with a significant emphasis on property litigation and professional negligence

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with NQ to 5+ years’ Post Qualification Experience (PQE), specialising in:
- Litigation
- Professional Negligence
- Property Litigation
- Contentious Probate (where experience exists)
Your role will involve handling a mixed litigation workload, ensuring high-quality legal advice, and delivering successful outcomes for clients while working within a supportive, professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our established team, you will:
- Advise clients on legal matters, including negotiation, litigation strategy, and case progression
- Manage cases from inception to closure, taking full responsibility for allocated matters
- Prepare and present documentation in line with professional conduct rules and litigation standards
- Collaborate closely with the senior team, offering input when necessary
- Document billing accurately through detailed time recording (total hours claimed billed monthly)
- Upload and manage all necessary case documentation through our secure Caseview document management system
- Maintain high attention to detail, ensuring torment briefs are excellent quality standard
- Support the busy caseload while working both independently and as part of a strong team

Must-Haves
Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to discuss disputes with clients, offering structured advice throughout the litigation process. A proven track record of high-quality case management and accurate timekeeping. The ability to handle complex cases while maintaining a professional, supportive client interaction. An approachable and collaborative attitude within busy legal environments.

- Completion as a qualified solicitor or legal executive (possibly gained recently)
- Preference for experience in property litigation, professional negligence, and/or contentious probate litigation
- Strong communication skills with clients, both in interviews and litigation strategy
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and time management
- Ability to support senior members while being a valuable member of our collaborative team
- Familiarity with dispute resolution and litigious processes suitable for multiple specialisms
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £45,000 upwards (commensurate with experience)
