Disrepair Coordinator
We have a great opportunity that has arisen within our Contract Services Team for a Disrepair Coordinator. In this role, you will take the lead in coordinating and monitoring disrepair cases across Southern Housing, ensuring effective oversight and timely resolution. A key part of the role will involve identifying opportunities to reduce the risk of issues escalating into disrepair claims. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Contract Services, Operations, and Legal to support the administration of cases, and you will also assist the Gas & Electric Coordinators in managing injunction proceedings related to gas and electrical compliance.

You will be based at our Sittingbourne office. You’ll be expected to work onsite at least two days a week, with the remaining three days worked from home.
What You’ll Need
- Knowledge and experience of managing disrepair claims and the disrepair protocol.
- Experience of analysing large data sets.
- Excellent IT skills including databases and spreadsheets.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and confidence using own initiative.
- The ability to manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with internal staff, tenants, contractors, and solicitors.
