Disrepair Manager

About The Role
Join WPS as a Disrepair Manager and take the lead on delivering end-to-end disrepair programmes for a local authority. You'll play a key role in improving residents' homes while ensuring works are completed efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end disrepair programmes within SLAs
- Act as the main liaison between council, contractors & stakeholders
- Review claims and accurately scope works from survey reports
- Manage contractors and ensure works are delivered on time, safely, and to quality standards
- Drive KPIs including turnaround times, first-time fix & customer satisfaction
- Oversee pre/post inspections to ensure compliance and sign-off standards
- Support legal processes including pre-action protocols & joint inspections
- Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, CDM, and council policies
- Manage budgets and maintain cost-efficient delivery
- Maintain clear documentation and provide regular client reports
- Engage residents, manage expectations & resolve complaints
- Identify improvements to reduce repeat defects and future claims

Essential Requirements
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – mandatory
- Full UK Driving Licence – required
