Disrepair Supervisor – Maintenance Division Role
About the Role
We have a critical opportunity for a Disrepair Supervisor to join our Wates team within our Maintenance division. You will work out of our Brixton office, handling social housing contracts and delivering both reactive and planned maintenance to our residents.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure a high-quality service by managing work scheduling in line with company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
- Act as a Wates representative at client and resident performance meetings, as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Oversee and manage the responsive repairs function, ensuring consistent performance against targets.
- Effectively manage material costs, ensuring all teams adhere to correct processes and procedures.
- Monitor the quality of work through regular inspections, inspection reports, deep analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer satisfaction surveys.
- Lead, manage, and contribute to the growth and development of your team while determining the optimal employment levels required.

Requirements
Professional Qualifications
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Technical Competence
- Essential experience in responsive maintenance.
- Hold at least a CSSTS (SSTS) certificate.
Core Competencies
- Be an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
- Abilities to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
Background Checks
- A Basic DBS Check will be carried out at the offer stage.
- Certain roles may require additional pre-employment vetting.
