- Carry out detailed inspections of social housing properties to identify disrepair issues, defects, damp, mould, leaks, and structural problems.
- Diagnose building defects and determine appropriate remedial solutions to resolve property condition issues.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates.
- Manage a caseload of disrepair cases from initial inspection through to completion of works.
- Assess properties against relevant housing standards, legislation, and landlord obligations.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, legal representatives, and internal teams to resolve disrepair matters effectively.
- Monitor repair works on site to ensure quality, compliance, and completion within agreed timescales.
- Provide technical advice and support on building defects, repair requirements, and maintenance solutions.
- Maintain accurate records, update systems, and provide reports on disrepair cases and service performance.
- Work collaboratively with housing, repairs, and legal teams to minimise risks and improve resident satisfaction.
