About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Newcastle Strategic Solutions (NSSL) on a 12-month fixed-term contract within our Printing & Stationery team. The department delivers a fully centralised print, fulfilment, stock management, administration, purchasing, and distribution service across all areas of the business.
Operating across a two-shift rota, the team is a dynamic and fast-paced production unit responsible for:
- Customer communications print and fulfilment
- Colour laser printing
- Large format printing
- Stock management
- Stationery services
In addition, the team supports the wider business through purchasing, storage, and distribution activities.
As a Distribution Administrator, you will play an integral role in supporting these services and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking, packing, and distributing stationery and literature requests across Head Office departments and branch networks.
- Supporting stock control and storage management activities.
- Undertaking print production and print-finishing tasks.
- Assisting with customer communications print and fulfilment processes.
- Ordering and replenishing stock to meet business requirements.
- Completing data processing and administrative tasks to support departmental operations.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and developing skills across multiple areas of the team.
This role provides excellent exposure to a variety of operational functions and offers the opportunity to build a broad and valuable skill set within a professional and highly efficient environment.
Please note: This role is 100% onsite.
2 shift patterns:
- Mon-Fri 6am-2pm
- 12pm-8pm

You will have:
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Comfort in carrying out administrative and data-processing activities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to consistently deliver quality work within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop, with a desire to continuously expand their skills and contribute to the overall capability of the department. You will be adaptable, resilient, and able to respond positively to changing priorities and workloads. Strong communication skills are also important, enabling you to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
In addition, you will hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Most importantly, you will bring a flexible, customer-focused approach and a willingness to support a team that delivers vital print, fulfilment, purchasing, and distribution services across the business.
