The Opportunity
The role of a Distribution Security Officer controls and monitors all deliveries entering the site while also carrying out regular building security duties and patrols to maintain a safe environment.
You will be the first point of control for all deliveries entering our loading and goods-in areas, ensuring that every vehicle, driver and delivery is processed safely, efficiently and in line with site procedures.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Carry out regular security duties including patrols, access control, monitoring alarms, and incident reporting
- Monitor and control access to the loading bay and delivery areas
- Work closely with facilities, logistics and security teams to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to incidents, safety concerns or unauthorised access attempts
- Provide a professional, customer-focused service to drivers, contractors and staff
- Assist with front-of-house activities where required, ensuring site standards are maintained
Full in-house training will be provided.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience
- Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
- Highly presentable in line with our corporate brand
- Resilient and proactive in your work
