Distribution Supervisor

Distribution Supervisor Monday to Friday

Your new company

A leading and growing distribution business is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and investment in its operational leadership team. As part of a newly evolved management structure, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Distribution Supervisor to play a key role in building capability, improving performance and creating a high-performing team culture.

Your new role

This is a hands-on leadership role where success will be measured not only by operational results, but by your ability to develop, motivate and improve the performance of your team. Working within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment, you will be responsible for leading from the front, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. You'll spend significant time on the warehouse floor, coaching colleagues, supporting performance and ensuring KPIs, productivity targets and service levels are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team within a busy distribution operation.
  • Setting clear objectives, expectations and performance standards for individuals and teams.
  • Monitoring KPIs, productivity and turnaround times, taking action where performance falls below expectations.
  • Driving engagement, accountability and a high-performance culture.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing team members to maximise individual and team effectiveness.
  • Conducting regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and development discussions.
  • Managing attendance, absence processes and return-to-work meetings.
  • Handling performance management and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Supporting onboarding and ongoing training initiatives to build capability throughout the team.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring health and safety, compliance and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Remaining visible and hands-on within the operation, leading by example and supporting the team during peak periods.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
