At InPost, we are looking for exceptional full-time Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join our team and help drive operational excellence in our parcel sortation operations. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, optimising mechanical sortation processes, and leading a talented team towards achieving outstanding results. If you are ready to take on an exciting and challenging leadership role, we want to hear from you! 📍 Location: Rhosddu Industrial Estate, Main Road, Rhosrobin, Wrexham, LL11 4YL 📅 Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday 00:00 - 08:30 🕒 Hours: 40hrs per week 💰 Salary: £29,000 - £30,500 Per Annum (DOE)
What you’ll be doing: Leading Operational Excellence: Take charge of overseeing and optimising the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring seamless execution across all activities and departments. • Driving High Performance: Develop and implement strategies that drive performance improvements, reduce operational costs, and maximise efficiency. Monitor KPIs closely to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and success. • Mastering Warehouse Flow: Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate sorting, processing, and dispatching of parcels, driving a smooth operational flow from start to finish. • Empowering Your Team: Lead, train, and inspire a high-performance warehouse team. Provide mentorship and guidance, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration, ensuring smooth operations throughout the business. • Ensuring Consistency: Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and quality at all times. • Prioritising Safety: Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and creating a safe working environment for your team. • Managing the OLA Shift: Take full control of managing all aspects of the OLA shift, ensuring optimal productivity and performance. • Managing Driver Briefings: Oversee and control all aspects of driver pre- and de-briefings, ensuring clear communication and seamless operations. • Maintaining a Top-Tier Warehouse Environment: Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and fully compliant with safety standards to create an efficient and professional environment. • Upholding Company Standards: Consistently adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring the highest operational standards and integrity. What we need from you: Proven Leadership: Significant experience in a supervisory role, ideally within a parcel sortation or logistics warehouse, with a solid understanding of automated sortation systems and/ or non automated processes. Operational Expertise: Strong background in warehouse flow management and a proven ability to optimise processes and drive operational efficiency. Inspirational Leadership: Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving ambitious goals. Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments to ensure smooth operations. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in warehouse management systems and relevant technology tools that enhance operational performance and efficiency. Thrives in High-Paced Environments: Ability to excel in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and upholding the highest standards.
