Distributor & Key Account Development Manager

Field-based, Territory Midlands (Birmingham / Northampton / Oxford)
Up to £65,000 + bonus (up to 4x monthly salary) + commission
Sell a product no one else in the world can legally make.

Our client is a well-established European manufacturer and a global leader in specialist stretch film - every product internationally patented and backed by a debt-free, financially rock-solid business that exports across Europe and the US. This is a genuinely international, privately owned business with serious cash-flow strength behind it. This isn't a price fight. You'll sell measurable savings and sustainability: less plastic, less energy, less labour, lower CO2, better pallet stability. A consultative, technical, value-based sale, the kind of conversation buyers actually want to have right now.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why it's a great move:

  • Small, tight UK team, you'll have real autonomy and a direct line to senior leadership, not one of fifty reps.
  • Large training budget.
  • And the second-stage interview? Two fully expensed days at the company's European HQ to see the tech, meet the team and meet the owner.
  • Not many businesses invest that much before making an offer.
