An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated District Nurse Specialist Practitioner to join the Nairn & Ardersier Community Nursing Team on a permanent basis.
About the Team
The Nairn & Ardersier Community Nursing Team is committed to delivering high-quality nursing care across its local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service which will mean rotation of shifts to ensure service provision over 7 days.
- The post holder will hold a Specialist Practitioner District Nursing qualification and be accountable for planning, coordinating, and delivering safe and effective person-centred care.
- The post holder must be able to evidence excellent clinical leadership and change management skills.
- It is essential for the post holder to demonstrate high-quality communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, empower, and motivate the team, demonstrating the pillars of an advanced practitioner.
- The post holder should be self-motivated, have an in-depth knowledge of community nursing, excellent communication, leadership, and networking skills.
- This challenging but rewarding post sits within a well-established Integrated Adult Health and Social care team.

Requirements
- A requirement of the post is to be a registered Nurse, with a Specialist Qualification in District Nursing with a valid UK NMC registration and have a driving licence with access to a car.
