Vertu Motors, Divisional Aftersales Manager – BMW & MINI, Yorkshire & North East

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leading BMW & MINI Divisional teams at Vertu Motors!

If you are an experienced Aftersales Manager looking to progress your career, or a Group Aftersales Manager wanting to join one of the largest Motor Retailers in the UK, this could be a great opportunity for you! Due to the location of the dealerships you will support across North East & Yorkshire we are looking for the successful applicant to be based across these regions.

In the role of Divisional Aftersales Manager you will help deliver our Aftersales strategy, ensuring capacity for growth and driving performance.

You will have significant operational engagement with the Aftersales Management team who will rely on you for support, coaching and direction. As such, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and develop the capability of individuals and of a wider management team. Developing a high-performance culture and team will be your primary leadership objective.

Reporting directly to our BMW & MINI Aftersales Director, this role forms part of our wider divisional team led by the Franchise Director, who together set and drive the direction and strategy for the dealership network. Within this role you will provide your teams with expert aftersales support and take the lead in relation to reviewing technological changes, manufacturer initiatives and new model launches, in relation to their impact on the division’s operational performance and to maximise the opportunity they present.

We are looking for you to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the Aftersales arena, ideally within a franchised Motor Retailer. You must be steadfastly customer centric and be able to develop and deliver tactics that support long-term customer relationships. Experience dealing with manufacturers, and contributing at a strategic level to thinking and decision making, is essential.
