We are partnering with a leading, private equity-backed services business to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director. Operating within a complex, multi-site environment, this is a high-profile leadership role reporting to the CFO to drive growth, performance, and value creation.
Description
This is a broad remit combining strategic finance leadership with operational delivery. As the Divisional Finance Director, you will lead financial planning, reporting, business partnering, working capital management, and investment appraisal, while playing a central role in finance transformation, process improvement, and the development of a high-performing finance function. With a strong focus on EBITDA, cash generation, and exit readiness, you will help shape business strategy and support commercial decision-making across the organisation.

Skills
The successful candidate for this Divisional Finance Director role will be an accomplished finance leader with experience in a £50m+ turnover business, ideally within a private equity-backed or leveraged environment. You will have a proven track record of leading teams, delivering finance transformation, and partnering senior stakeholders to improve business performance. Experience within people-based services, recurring revenue, or multi-site businesses would be advantageous, alongside strong technical accounting knowledge and a commercial, forward-thinking approach.
