Do you thrive on building meaningful relationships and influencing others to deliver their very best? We're looking for a Divisional Retail Trainer to join our Retail Training Delivery team, playing a key role in developing the capability, confidence and performance of colleagues across our stores.

Role Overview

This is a highly visible, field-based role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work directly with store teams, Partners, People teams and support functions to help create exceptional experiences for both colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

As a Divisional Retail Trainer, you'll spend your time working closely with colleagues across your division to deliver engaging learning experiences that make a genuine difference to performance and behaviour. You'll:

  • Facilitate a range of training programmes, workshops and development activities, both face-to-face and virtually, helping colleagues build the skills they need to succeed.
  • Be a trusted learning partner to the business, working alongside Partners, Chairs, Regional Relationship Managers, In-Store Trainers and People teams to understand capability needs, identify opportunities for development and provide practical solutions that support business goals.
  • Deliver a development workshop to store managers.
  • Coach an In-Store Trainer to build their confidence.
  • Support a new business opening.
  • Facilitate apprenticeship learning.
  • Attend divisional meetings.
  • Partner with local stakeholders to address specific performance challenges.

Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, adapting their approach to different audiences and acting as a visible ambassador for learning and development across the division. Success in this role comes from your ability to influence, coach and build trust. You'll be someone who can quickly establish credible relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and use those relationships to drive positive outcomes.

You'll bring experience of delivering engaging training and facilitation, along with strong coaching and consultancy skills. You'll be naturally curious, taking time to understand the challenges people face and helping them find practical ways to overcome them. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, comfortable working independently and motivated by seeing others develop and succeed.
