Document Controller – Social Infrastructure Design Team

We are expanding our Social Infrastructure design team and are looking for a Document Controller, with the role based in Dartford.
About the Role
As our Document Controller, you will:
- Manage project documentation—organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently.
- Administer the Document Management System (DMS)—setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security.
- Ensure compliance—maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
- Support the project team—assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices.
- Monitor version control—ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.
- Enhance processes—identifying ways to improve efficiency and implement best practices.

Requirements
Education
✅ GCSEs or A-Levels required; additional qualifications in administration or document control are a plus.
Experience
💼Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries is preferred.
🔹 Familiarity with EDMS, SharePoint, or Aconex is advantageous but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
💻 Proficient in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office.
