Document Controller
Randstad C and P are currently recruiting for a Document Controller on behalf of a national client in Middlesbrough.
The Package
- Competitive salary up to GBP33,000 per annum
- Full-time and permanent
- Mon–Fri, 42.5 hours per week (37.5 effective working hours)
- Generous company pension scheme
- 34 days annual holiday, including bank holidays
Duties
- Managing the controlled flow of drawings, models and technical information through the project’s Common Data Environment (BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud) in accordance with ISO 19650 / PAS1192 standards
- Overseeing the flow of contract-led information and processes within the CDE, including:
- Handling formal instructions, queries, variations, project registers and general correspondence
- Supporting procurement and site administration
- Ensuring the project team maintains audit-ready QA and compliance records for a structured, ISO-aligned handover and digital project close-out
- Providing general site administration support

Requirements
- Excellent computer skills and a strong willingness to learn and use new software
- Proven experience working in a document control or administrative capacity within the construction industry
- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and data sharing tools
- Understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a core industry concept, including experience with platforms like Navisworks
- Strong literacy, written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding time management, with a track record of meeting strict project deadlines
- Ability to collaborate as a flexible, dependable team player, supporting the wider project team
