A leading Regional Contractor based in Bristol are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the country’s most prominent construction business with a fantastic reputation as a leading reputable contractor. This Document Controller role will play a key part amongst both the site and design teams.
About the role of Document Controller
This contractor traditionally specialises in high spec projects, including education, healthcare, leisure & industrial new builds & refurbishments valuing up to £20M on a nationwide basis for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller is a permanent requirement, working from their office in Bristol.

Responsibilities for Document Controller
- Responsible for overseeing all project documentation and ensuring it is filed correctly in line with company protocol
- Assist both clients and stakeholders with relevant CDE training when required
- Continuous maintenance and management of systems throughout the duration of the projects including archiving, running reports and ensuring the latest version is available
Requirements for Document Controller
- Previous experience using document management systems including pro-core and View Point and other Microsoft packages is fundamental
- Relevant experience working on similar value projects within the construction industry
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail is essential
