Document Controller - Construction / Residential Development
Location: London (site-based)
The Opportunity
A leading, well-funded residential developer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing technical team on a major London-based development. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, high-rise residential schemes within a business that is investing significantly in London, delivering high-quality, design-led projects.
The Role
As Document Controller, you will play a key role in managing project information across complex construction schemes. You'll be responsible for ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the build lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS)
- Ensure timely distribution and accuracy of project information
- Support and train internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors on document systems
- Set up projects within EDMS, including user access and permissions
- Act as the main point of contact for document control queries and issue resolution
- Monitor quality and compliance of documentation, including uploads, RFIs (Request For Information), and IFCs (Information Flow Control)
- Produce reports and support wider project administration
About You
Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction Experience on large-scale residential or high-rise projects is highly desirable Strong knowledge of EDMS platform Aconex Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and ISO document control standards Confident liaising with multiple stakeholders across projects Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong IT skills, including Excel and SharePoint
