Document Controller – PAYE Contract Role (12 Months)

About the Role
Job Title: Document Controller
Employment Type: PAYE contract role for 12 months
Key Responsibilities
- Provide document control support to various projects, engaging with both internal and external clients, while supporting senior/lead document controllers
- Ensure the processing and distribution of project documentation adheres to relevant company/project procedures; leverage EDMS systems and conduct QC checks accurately
- Assist in project close-out & handover functions to guarantee all projects are closed out correctly and on time
- Offer support to the Document Control team in managing emails, queries, and general requests
- Liaise with external clients

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Good standard of education
- Demonstrated understanding of Document Control principles and processes, with the ability to convey and enforce them
- Competent in PC-based applications (Windows/MS Office)
- Highly organised and attentive to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with people at all levels (internally and externally)
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven ability to function as a team player while also working autonomously
- Previous office environment experience
- Relevant experience in a Document Controller role
- Experience using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) in a prior role
