Location: Chester, Cheshire Salary: £32,606 - £34,322 per year Work Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

About the Role
We are looking for a Document Controller to join our Development function at Beech Grove Homes, supporting a six-person Design Team in delivering comprehensive design and technical support.
As Document Controller, you will ensure:
- Accuracy, organisation, and distribution of project documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
- Version control, issuance of technical information, and management of structured document packs.
- Compliance with procedures, serving as a central contact for document-related enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict methodical documentation control, meeting set deadlines.
- Manage and maintain Sanctuary’s electronic document management system – Sharefile including permissions and compliance checks.
- Monitor document flow, track revisions, and notify teams of updates or non-compliance.
- Review and update document control procedures, workflows, and internal quality systems.
- Develop relationships with architects, engineers, consultants to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide data management support, respond to information requests, and generate reports.
- Liaise with consultants and utilities for pre-construction document management.
- Support project administration, including printing, scanning, and filing systems.
- Ensure files (e.g., Operation and Maintenance manuals) remain up to date.

Skills & Experience Required
- GCSEs equivalent in English and Maths (literacy and numeracy proficiency).
- Proven administrative experience in a structured environment.
- Understanding of housebuilding processes and compliance.
- Recent support experience for senior management.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer care focus, with strong relationship-building ability.
- Fully valid driving licence (essential, as travel is required).
