Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Document Controller, to join our integrated HPC contract team, supporting critical documentation and compliance processes that keep this large‑scale project running smoothly and meeting ONR requirements.
This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 with a requirement to based in our Bridgwater site. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £32,500 and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support the operational team to ensure all documentation meets “Right First Time” quality standards before submission into HPC systems
- Maintain and update Lifetime Quality Records ensuring compliance with ONR Licence Conditions
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Document Control systems, including HPC EDRMS and Field View
- Prepare and present performance statistics to the Document Control Manager to help monitor and improve processes
- Identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities in document control across the contract

What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to track, collate and manage information accurately
- A curious and questioning mindset that supports best practice in quality and document control
- Confident Microsoft Office skills
- A collaborative working style, able to manage personal tasks while staying aligned with wider contract needs
- Experience with Document Control systems and working in highly regulated, compliance‑driven industries (advantageous)
