📍Location: Cambridge, must be a driver with own car due to location
💷Salary: £38,000
⏰Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.15am-5pm (this role is fully office based with no work from home)
✨ Are you a meticulous Document Controller with a passion for the Building & Construction industry? Our client is searching for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team! ✨
Responsibilities
As a Document Controller, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth project execution.
- Manage, organise, and maintain project documentation, ensuring all drawings, specifications, and records are accurately stored and easily accessible. 📁
- Control the distribution of technical documents across multiple construction projects, guaranteeing that the latest revisions are issued to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain document control systems (Procore, Oracle, 4Project & SharePoint) in accordance with company and project requirements.
- Track document revisions, approvals, and workflows, maintaining strict version control to prevent errors or use of outdated information. 🔄
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and retrieval of documentation. 🤝
- Support compliance with industry standards, contractual obligations, and quality assurance procedures (ISO, HSEQ requirements).
- Prepare regular reports on document status, outstanding approvals, and project documentation progress. 📊
- Assist in project close-out activities, ensuring all as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final documentation are complete and properly archived.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, within construction or engineering 🏗️
- Familiarity with Procore, Oracle, 4Project & SharePoint is a plus, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and an eagle eye for detail 🔍
- Proficiency with document management systems
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment
