Document Controller, Balaena Tyne
We are looking for a Document Controller in this key role as part of our QHSE team who make sure we consistently deliver work that meets our rigorous safety and quality standards.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who is familiar with document management within a quality management system. We’re looking for someone who is detail oriented with a passion for precision!

And what will you do?
- Support the Quality Manager to ensure that project manufacturing records are compiled and maintained throughout project lifecycle, collaborating cross functionally to ensure document accuracy
- Facilitating progressive document review, compiling and approving MRBs (manufacturing record books) throughout project lifecycles
- Control and maintain document registers, including the project welding database
- Compile and forward evidence packs to customers prior to inspections
- Review documentation status against project status as well as notifications of inspections
- Review internal inspection requests, checking for accuracy
- Collate reports generated during manufacturing process by deadlines and check that they are legible and retained within the MRBs
- Complete and submit weekly status trackers

- Strong organisational skills while paying close attention to detail
- Knowledge of engineering documentation
- A passion for maintaining quality standards
- Exposure to root cause analysis would be great
- Familiarity with quality management systems
- Experience compiling quality documentation packages

These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and your place of birth may limit those roles you can perform with us.
You must also undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
