Document Controller Specialist I

Document Controller – Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS)

Location: Eastbourne Contract Type: Full-Time, Onsite


About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Document Controller to join Honeywell’s(HES) Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of documents between customers and HMD, ensuring smooth project execution through effective document control.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation, storage, submission, and approval of internally generated documents, procedures, and subcontractor files in line with contractual requirements.
  • Actively support the Project Manager in ensuring a successful project completion.
  • Oversee all project documentation generated by internal teams and external subcontractors.
  • Develop and revise project documentation as needed to meet customer approval standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure company-generated documents comply with company and client document management systems.

Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Desirable: Previous experience in document control within Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Hands-on technical ability to manage workloads within tight project schedules.
  • Confidence to address and resolve risks and opportunities directly with customers.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PDF editing).
  • Highly organised, capable of working independently while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and verbal) with a strong customer service focus.
