Document Controller

Location: Birmingham

As a Document Controller, you will provide support to our project teams by ensuring that project design information and documentation is captured, stored, and managed in a structured manner within Viewpoint for Projects (Our Common Data Environment - CDE) for seamless retrieval by site teams.

Ideally, this role will be based in or near the West Midlands, with the opportunity to travel across multiple sites and projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue daily reports on new or revised information to the site team.
  • Attend design team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with company and project information management protocols, including IMP (Information Management Plan) and BEP (Base Engineering Package).
  • Create and maintain all registers accurately and ready for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure change control and revision status are recorded, traceable, and identified within the CDE.
  • Distribute the latest revision of live design documentation to relevant disciplines via the CDE.
  • Provide monthly progress reports to the Project Management Team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
