Owen Reed is looking for Document Production Specialists for a top law firm in London. We are recruiting for three part-time opportunities within a busy Document Production Centre, offering a range of working patterns to suit experienced legal document production professionals. These roles are ideal for individuals with exceptional Microsoft Office skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced legal environment.

Available Shifts

  • Evening Document Production Specialist – 35 hours per week

    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
    • Split shift option available: 8:00am – 11:00am and mandatory 6:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Evening Document Production Specialist – 30 hours per week

    • 3:30pm – 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
    • 30-minute unpaid break
    • Split shift option available: 8:00am – 10:00am and mandatory 6:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Document Production Specialist – 25 hours per week

    • 8:00am – 1:00pm, Monday to Friday

The Role

As a Document Production Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated Document Production Centre providing high-quality document support to fee earners across the firm. You'll produce, amend and format a wide range of legal documents while ensuring exceptional accuracy, efficiency and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce, amend and format complex legal documents, correspondence and reports.
  • Proofread and quality-check work to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and consistency.
  • Create, amend and manage electronic bundles and bibles.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively while meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Work closely with fee earners to provide a responsive and professional document production service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all work produced.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Document Production Centre.
  • Deliver outstanding service while working within a collaborative team environment.

About You

We're looking for experienced legal document production professionals who thrive in a deadline-driven environment and take pride in producing work of the highest quality.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous Document Production experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • A typing speed of 60+ words per minute.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience formatting complex legal documents using advanced Word features.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, flexible and client-focused approach.
