Circet UK are looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Slough.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organised Document Controller to join our Transport Technology team, supporting the delivery of major Rail projects. Based in Slough, you will play a key role in managing the flow of project documentation from site through to completion, ensuring information is accurately captured, stored and distributed in line with company and client requirements.

Working across multiple projects, you will maintain document control processes, support project teams with administrative tasks, and ensure all project records are up to date, compliant and easily accessible.

Responsibilities of Document Controller:

  • Manage the receipt, review, distribution and filing of project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate document registers and ensure all records are up to date.
  • Upload, organise and archive documentation on company servers and document management systems.
  • Ensure document version control is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process documentation received from site, ensuring information is complete and accurately recorded.
  • Issue project documentation and communications to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support project teams with document control and administrative activities.
  • Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with site teams where required.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records to support audits, handovers and project close-out.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Document Controller, Project Administrator or similar administration role.
  • Experience working within rail, construction, engineering or infrastructure environments is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience using document management systems is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
