Software Engineer – Frontend (React/TypeScript) (F/M/D)
The Challenge
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our growing team and help us build the next generation of scalable user interfaces with React, TypeScript, and modern design principles. You’ll play a key role in shaping our product’s frontend architecture, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
What We Ask
- Write production-grade React/TypeScript component code that aligns with accessibility and performance best practises
- Collaborate with designers and PMs to translate UI/UX mockups into interactive user flows
- Optimise frontend performance and reduce page load times
- Implement proper testing strategies (unit, integration and e2e tests)
- Debug and resolve complex frontend issues across desktop and mobile web applications

Criteria
- Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript
- Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries: Next.js and Vue.js
- AWS and backend API integration familiarity
- Successful practises adopting GitFlow and deployment tools like GitHub Actions, CI/CD
- Beguine but eager attitude towards R&D and experimentation

The Web Developer will be responsible for driving the development of user-facing features, improving performance, and enhancing user experience through clean, efficient, and scalable code. You’ll maintain and expand our React-based frontend codebase while collaborating with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deliver resilient, efficient and engaging web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
- Write modular, reusable front-end components using the latest React Hooks and Context API
- Adhere to code conventions and best practices ensuring high code quality
- Assist in optimising and scaling applications through backend integrations by responsible for web API communication
- Implement robust testing strategies using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure a high standard of software quality
- Collaboratively work with backend developers to shape and optimize overall application architecture
- Support and troubleshoot for issue resolution in production and staging environments
- Continue to develop skills in innovative technologies and integrate new features to improve performance
Requirements
Essential
- Full stack developer specified as React developer with minimum 2+ years of professional experience in React.ts, and related technologies
- Proficient use of the React library and the JavaScript language
- Experience with React state management technologies such as Redux Toolkit
- Ability to work in Sass, CSS3 design modules and jQuery
- Ability to manipulate JSON data for quick and easy filtering options
- Experience with unit and application tests, such as Jest, Enzyme and Cypress
- Experience checking code style and security

Desirable
- Advanced experience in HL7 FHIR standards
- Experience working with a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular or Vue.js
- Experience contributing to source code management system GIT and versioning systems
- Familiarity with a REST API
- Experience in optimizing network request, implementing intuitive front-end UIs with attention to visual and UX details
- The ability to perform QA testing/Beta testing
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google
- Experience with Node.js Express/Rails/Symfony
