Estrid is a nervous dog. She has been attacked several times and panics if large dogs run towards her.
I walk her on a long line and most of the time she is fine. She has a good recall, loves treats and praise. Very rarely the Husky in her comes out and she runs off, hence the long line. I rarely actually hold her but it's useful to have when you spot the signs she's going to bolt. I wouldn't expect anyone to walk her without using the long line until they knew her very well. I want to try to build her confidence in meeting people and other dogs. She is not aggressive, used to love playing with other dogs and was generally a lively, happy girl on walks. I'm concerned she's too dependent on myself and Dreyfus and need someone VERY patient. She's very loving and a bit cheeky once you get to know her. Initially I want both dogs walked separately. An hour each, once a week to start. Days and times are very flexible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Dreyfus is very lively. Likes to meet other dogs but this is restricted by people not liking GSDs. He's not a big GSD. Walks will be on lead after initial excitement. Loves to sniff to the extreme! Likes to play with a ball. He has a good recall most of the time. Not aggressive, will run if confronted by a grumbly or aggressive dog. Loves to run. Very gentle nature most of the time but does like rough and tumble if known to the other dog. Will be neutered early next year but has shown no problems. Not really food-oriented unless treats are really special!!
