Doggy Daycare needed near Pollokshields G41
Hello!
We’re looking for 1:1 day care for our dog, Munro, one day a week - most likely on a Wednesday, though we may be able to make another day work.
Munro is a lovely, clever, affectionate boy and generally excellent company. He’s very settled while we’re working from home and has mastered the art of relaxing nearby while the humans stare at laptops. During the day, he doesn’t need much: just a garden break for a pee and a short 10–20 minute play with his toys. We walk him ourselves in the morning and evening, and as he has hip dysplasia, we’d prefer him not to go on a daytime walk. Access to a private garden would be ideal.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
He does have a few little quirks. He isn’t keen on being left on his own, so we’re looking for someone who will be around while he’s in their care. He’s also frightened by traffic and bikes. We’re working on this with him, but for now it’s best for him to avoid these triggers where possible. He’s okay with the noise of traffic - just not walking on or near roads.
Recently, Munro has occasionally been a bit worried and reactive around other dogs, especially larger ones. We think this may be partly teenage drama and partly discomfort from his hip dysplasia. We’re hopeful the teenage side will improve with time and training, but for now we’re looking for someone who only takes one dog at a time and can offer a calm, quiet environment.

Overall, Munro is a really great dog: gentle, loving, funny, and very easy company at home. We’re hoping to find someone patient and understanding who can give him a safe, low-stress day once a week - and maybe some belly scratches!
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
