About the Role

At New Look, we’re confident that fashion is a powerful way of making the world brighter—and we’re here to prove it. As Domain Architect for Integration, you will shape the future of how our systems and platforms connect, ensuring agility, security and resilience across our tech estate.

You’ll be responsible for defining and maintaining the integration strategy, target architecture, standards, patterns and roadmap. The role spans collaboration with business portfolios, product teams, engineering, security, infrastructure, data, suppliers, and partners to deliver integration solutions that align with our core values—play to win, customer obsessed, and it starts with me. Your work will empower us to deliver That New Look Feeling for our customers and our teams.

Here’s what you’ll do every day:

The Role

  • Technology Simplification: Address integration debt, platform risks, and capability gaps. Remediate through pragmatic modernisation approaches, supporting business agility, resilience, cost control, and long-term maintainability.

Platform and Technology Direction

  • Platform Architecture: Lead enterprise integration platforms, including API management, messaging, and eventing capabilities. Ensure platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and observable for current and future needs.
  • Roadmap Planning: Support platform roadmaps, lifecycle management, and investment decisions. Ensure choices align with business priorities, platform health, technology debt risk, supplier engagements, and operational impact.

Architecture Guidance and Assurance

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with Group Architects, Solution Architects, engineering, business stakeholders, and external vendors to clarify integration requirements and translate them into actionable architecture guidance.
  • Solution Support: Advise projects, programmes, and products on integration options, service boundaries, non-functional requirements, dependencies, and risks. Engage in solution options definition, design review, and architecture decision records when complexity or reuse is critical.
  • Architecture Governance: Champion standards-compliant integration decisions through architecture review and Design Authority activities. Ensure all decisions are evidence-based, traceable, and aligned to enterprise principles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
