As a facilitator of exceptional cleaning services, you will play a critical role in infection control, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

- Location: NHS hospital
- Hours: Monday to Sunday, afternoon shifts (pattern detailed below), 13.5 hrs/week at £12.92 per hour
- Terms: 0 hours contract with progression opportunities available

Responsibilities
As a Domestic Assistant, your core responsibilities will include:
Duties in Hospital Facilities
- High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces
- Cleaning wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected areas, and public spaces
- Maintaining rubbish bins, including removal and safe disposal when full
- Ensuring hospital standards are met by keeping all areas clean, presentable, and safe for visitors

- Following required policies and procedures for infection control and sanitation
- Operating equipment safely in line with Health and Safety guidelines
Person Specification
We are looking for motivated individuals who:
- Have a passion for patient care and a **willingness to Learn and appreciate the impact our work has on such important services
- Can communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
- Are able to work under pressure independently and in a team
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet the needs of service users
- Feel comfortable working in a hospital environment, including exposure to patients experiencing illness or distress
