Domestic Assistant – Cedarhurst Lodge Nursing Home

About the Role
The Domestic/Laundry Assistant is a crucial role in maintaining a pristine living environment for residents at Cedarhurst Lodge Nursing Home. Successful candidates will work within a supportive team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and tidy space.
Key responsibilities include performing domestic duties efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail, and contributing to a proactive and inclusive team atmosphere. No prior experience is required—only a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to high standards.
Full training will be provided, covering:
- Cleaning routines for residential care settings
- Safe working practices
- Specialist equipment operation
- Product usage guidelines

Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across residential areas
- Complete domestic and laundry duties in an efficient, timely manner
- Follow cleaning protocols and safety directives
- Perform tasks under supervision while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Utilise assigned equipment correctly and safely
