A Domestic Assistant to work within the Outdoor Education Service for Lancashire County Council at Borwick Hall.

About Us
Lancashire Outdoor Education Service are proud to be the major provider of outdoor adventure activities and residential facilities to an array of visitors such as schools, businesses and more. We run 3 centres located in both the Cumbria and Lancashire countryside: Tower Wood, Borwick Hall, and Hothersall Lodge. These fantastic sites provide a welcoming space for all to have fun, challenge themselves and learn new skills.

Where You Could Be Working…
Borwick Hall – A stately home situated in the heart of Borwick Village with extensive grounds that you can wander around and take in the breath-taking sights on your lunch if you wish – easily accessible from junction 35 on the M6 – we have up to a 148-bed capacity at this location.
Your New Role…
Domestic Assistant
Passion – We'd love to attract a passionate and dedicated individual to join us as a Domestic Assistant to be located at Borwick Hall. In this wonderful location you'll have the opportunity to work with a fantastic and supportive team with full training provided for the right candidate. Within this role you'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our grade 1 listed building's accommodation. The centre relies on everything running like clockwork so we'll really need someone who takes pride in what they do. As you'll be responsible for timely change overs, ensuring everything is in order for the arrival and departure of our guests, this includes replenishing domestic supplies, setting up the room, cleaning the facilities and more. We'd also love you to bring fresh ideas to the table so if we can improve efficiencies such as the overall presentation of the interior & exterior of each centre; then we'd love you to come on board.

Flexibility – We're seeking flexible and organised individuals to meet the ever changing needs of the service. We'll need you to respond and be ready to complete a variety of domestic tasks to ensure the customer is always at the heart of what we do. So we'll need self-motivated individuals with the team spirit to support and work with other colleagues to meet the needs of the service. In addition in this one team approach you may also support our other fabulous centres to keep the service running efficiently as required. This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
