Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Conduct deep cleaning, manage spillages, and emergency cleaning tasks.
- Restock and organise cleaning supplies, ensuring equipment is functional.
- Operate cleaning machinery (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor maintenance tools).
- Assist with stock management and report defects to management.
- Adhere to strict Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Work flexibly within the facilities team to ensure operational efficiency.
Desirable Qualities & Skills
- Experience in domestic cleaning (preferred but not essential).
- Keen attention to hygiene, equipment handling, and cleaning methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuing professional development (training provided).
Working Arrangements
- Part-time (32 hours/week) with a mandatory occasional weekend shift.
- Rota system: Work three weekends every two weeks (Saturdays/Sundays).
- Hourly shifts:
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (along with enhanced pay)
- Saturday: Time & a half ($£1.5x hourly rate)
- Sunday: Double time ($£2x hourly rate)
