£26,696 - £28,988 pro rata/per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 pro rata/per annum
Shifts:
Monday – Friday between the hours of 13:00 – 20:00
Hours:
24 hours per week

Job Opportunity
The opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant post, to join our Domestic Services Team within the Uist & Barra Hospital, Balivanich, Isle of Benbecula.
Responsibilities
- Provide a cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors using effective and efficient methods, which deliver a safe and welcoming environment, and to meet the required standards, as per the National Cleaning Services Specification.

Requirements
- Achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
- Register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
