Domestic Assistant
Domestic Assistant – 15 Hours/PW (Mon–Fri 17:00–20:00)
Job Overview
Applications are invited for the post of Domestic Assistant at Ysbyty Gwynedd, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 17:00–20:00.
Responsible for carrying out cleaning and related duties in wards, departments, and public/staff areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain wards, departments, public areas, and staff spaces.
- Participate in a 4–6 week induction period with on-the-job training, covering:
- Operational cleaning procedures
- Health and safety
- COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)

Person Specification
Experience
Desirable:
- Experience working as part of a team
- Background in cleaning services preferred
Aptitude & Abilities

- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
