Domestic Assistant
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,
Job Summary:
Preparing bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces for visiting groups of children and young people Making multiple beds, including bunk beds To assist with stock control and maintenance of cleaning equipment and products To clean throughout the centre to a very high standard as required, including deep cleaning to a specified rota Championing and executing an open culture of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) throughout the council which reflects the council’s policy, values and behaviours Following policies and procedures
Essential requirements for the role:
High standards of hygiene and cleanliness Good attention to detail, ensuring standards of finish and presentation ‘wow’ our customers and user groups Ability to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative Physical fitness for making beds Flexibility to the changing needs of our visiting groups
