Location: Cedar Grange, Main Street, Cherry Burton, Beverley HU17 7RF
Hours: 20 Hours Per Week
Salary: £12.71 Per Hour

Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)
- Understanding of cleanliness standards in a residential care environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Respectful, compassionate, and considerate when working around vulnerable adults

Your Role
As a Domestic Assistant in our care home, you’ll be more than just a cleaner—you’ll be part of a team that helps create a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for our residents. Your work will help ensure that every room feels like home and that residents can relax in a clean, cared-for space. It’s a rewarding role where your attention to detail and pride in cleanliness directly improves the quality of life for the people we support.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies
- Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Work respectfully and sensitively around residents, staff, and visitors
